Even though Genshin Impact is an online game, you can still install mods for it, for example, to change the appearance of your character. So next, we will show you how to install Genshin Impact mods.

Some players are worried that they may be banned for using mods. However, we have personally tested them, and since they do not modify the game files, we have not gotten blocked, nor have we found any confirmed reports of players being banned for using these mods. Follow our guidelines to learn how to install Genshin Impact mods easily and safely.

Installing Mods for Genshin Impact

If you want to make sure you're safe, you can create a trial account or simply join a private public or self-created server. Now that you are definitely safe, you need to follow these steps to install mods for Genshin Impact:

• First of all, we recommend you to make sure that Genshin Impact is installed on the C drive.
• Your next step is to download 3D Migoto. When you get to the right page, you will need to download a file called 3dmigoto GIMI (for playing mods).zip. If your computer or antivirus prevents you from downloading the file, just ignore it, we assure you that the files are 100% safe.
• Next, you need to go to Gamebanana to find and download the files of the desired mods. Note that you need to have a registered account on the forum to do this. We also recommend downloading mods for characters you have unlocked in the game.
• After you have downloaded all the necessary files, you have to unzip them to any folder or desktop.
• Now, all you have to do is open the Mods folder in 3dmigoto and move the unzipped file with your mod there. Please note that you can only have one mod per character at a time, i.e. if you have already moved a mod for Raiden to the Mods folder, you cannot move another mod for that character as it will cause the game to crash.
• Now that you have installed the mods you want, you need to launch the 3DMigoto Loader and only then launch the game to enjoy the desired mods.
