The UFC hosts a numbered event in New Jersey for the second consecutive year with UFC 302 on Saturday at Prudential Center in Newark (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+).

A lightweight championship bout serves as the main event of the card, with Islam Makhachev (25-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) looking to tie the all-time consecutive divisional title defense record against Dustin Poirier (30-8 MMA, 22-7 UFC), who looks to play spoiler and finally get his hands on the undisputed belt that’s eluded him throughout his career.

Strickland is one of three fighters in UFC history to earn victories at light heavyweight, middleweight and welterweight. Ildemar Alcantara and Trevin Giles also accomplished the feat.

Strickland’s two victories in a 14-day stretch at UFC Fight Night 181 and UFC Fight Night 182 are tied for the third shortest span between non-tournament UFC wins.

Holland’s 21-day turnaround between UFC main events (UFC on ESPN 21 and UFC on ABC 2) is tied with Deiveson Figueiredo (UFC 255 and UFC 256) for the shortest span in company history.

Holland is one of three fighters in UFC history to go 5-0 in a calendar year. Roger Huerta (2007) and Neil Magny (2014) also accomplished the feat, but Holland did it the fastest at 210 days.

Roman Kopylov (12-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) is 4-3 in his past six fights after starting his career 8-0.

Kopylov defends 87.2 percent of all opponent takedown attempts in UFC middleweight competition, the best rate in divisional history.

Price has earned two of the six knockout victories in UFC history stemming from the bottom position. He accomplished the feat at UFC on ESPN+ 19 and UFC Fight Night 133.

Price has earned one of three knockouts in UFC history stemming from punches from bottom position. Holland and Paul Craig also accomplished the feat.
