Your account is in arrears when you are behind on your payments. Missed payments will be shown on your account, and also on your statement. We need to update credit references agencies on whether you make your payments. This information can be used by lenders to help decide your eligibility for credit in the future, for example being accepted for a loan or mortgage.

Any missed payments may also incur fees and charges. Full details of these can be found on your statement, in the 'Key facts about your card' section.

To bring your account out of arrears, please pay the amount that's requested on your statement as soon as possible.

Payments can be made from the Virgin Money Credit Card app. If you prefer, you can also pay directly from your bank account. Any payment made will be visible in the app, and in your next monthly statement.
