What happened to Key Lime Cove? ›

The publication reports Gurnee's mayor said KeyLime Cove would close April 19, when the final guests check out. Mayor Kristina Kovarik added that Great Wolf Resorts Inc. is expected to begin work soon after with hopes of opening for spring break 2018.

Great Wolf Lodge began as a small indoor water park resort called Black Wolf Lodge which was founded in 1997 by brothers Jack and Andrew "Turk" Waterman, the original owners of Noah's Ark Water Park in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Black Wolf Lodge was purchased by The Great Lakes Companies Inc in 1999.

Towels are provided for your family in the water park as well as bathing towels in your suite. You may wish to bring a beach towel or cover up as we ask that the towels stay in the water park area. Towels in the water park are included but are subject to a fee if not returned.

The Great Wolf Lodge property at Grand Mound is located on federal Trust Indian land within the boundaries of the reservation of the Chehalis Tribe. The property is jointly owned and operated by the Chehalis Tribe and The Great Wolf Lodge Corporation.

KeyLime Cove operations (2008–2017)

It opened the following year, with a water park. It had a tropical theme around the resort. Nine years later, in 2017, the hotel announced its closure. It was announced that it would be owned by Great Wolf Lodge and would be having an extensive renovation throughout the whole hotel.

The Coco Key water resort has been closed for 14 weeks, after the county health department shut it down. It forced them to make over $50,000 worth of repairs, and on top of all of that, the bank foreclosed on the building during the whole process.

All the rooms comes with ur standard soap shampoos and conditions Towels. And yes you get a micowave mini refrigerator and a coffee maker with coffee and tea. But its best to bring ur own kind of coffee.

There is not a laundry facility for guests at the lodge; however, there are spinners in the water park to dry swimsuits. We do not offer parent free day care or babysitting services. 11:00 p.m. -7:00 a.m. are the quiet hours for the lodge. Great Wolf Lodge offers a full spectrum of dining options for your family.

In the TV spots, a larger-than-life pack of CGI-animated great wolves bring families together and transport them to Great Wolf Lodge for a pack-strengthening escape.
