The nine other countries through to Saturday's Grand Final are Serbia, Portugal, Slovenia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Finland, Cyprus, Croatia, and Luxembourg.
The second semi-final, which takes place on Thursday, May 9, will see 16 countries compete for those final ten coveted spots in the Grand Final.
They include Austria, Malta, Switzerland, Greece, Czechia, Albania, Denmark, Armenia, Israel, Estonia, Georgia, Netherlands, Norway, Latvia, San Marino and Belgium.
The 20 acts that succeed in the semi-finals will go on to compete against 'The Big 5', comprised of Italy, the UK, Spain, Germany and France, and last year's winners Sweden in the Grand Final.
Bambie's victory in Tuesday's semi-final marks the first time Ireland has secured a spot in the Grand Final of the Eurovision since our 2018 entry Ryan O'Shaughnessy with his track Together.
The last time Ireland qualified before that was five years prior with Ryan Dolan's Only Love Survives, so it's safe to say we've had an unlucky streak over the past decade.
Up until last year, Ireland held the record number of wins in Eurovision history; however, Sweden's win with Loreen's Tattoo pushed them up to seven wins, putting both countries at a tie.
Go n-éiri an bóthar leat, Bambie. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for you on Saturday!
